As a resident and business owner for 30 years, I understand our community needs and values as well as good business practices. Over the last four years I have worked diligently to help build a Council that makes decisions that are responsive and respectful to all of Brea. During that time I:
Led the effort to obtain full funding for the Lambert/57 Interchange
Was instrumental in establishing a separate investment account to help address our unfunded pension liabilities, and remain committed to further reforms
Support the building of a third downtown parking structure creating numerous economic opportunities
Voted to fund much need improvements to Lagos de Moreno Park
Formalized the establishment of a Homeless Task Force
Worked closely with our state and federal legislators to address pension reform, traffic mitigation, public safety, housing needs, hillside preservation, the homeless problem, and continued funding for senior services
As your Councilwoman I am committed to maintaining excellent police and fire services, responsible growth, working with nearby cities to lower city costs, open space preservation, and honoring the qualities and values that make Brea a special place to live and work.
